Full Time Management employment, Mount Isa City QLD

We are looking for an experienced resident management couple for our 26 room motel in Mount Isa, QLD. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for leading a small team of experienced working team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth running of the motel. We have 26 rooms, a small swimming pool and minimal grounds.
This role is best suited to an experienced management couple. Singles may be considered depending on relevant, current and demonstrated experience.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing and carrying out all aspects of motel operations, including reception, housekeeping, and maintenance
Providing exceptional customer service and handling guest enquiries and complaints
Managing and motivating our housekeeping team
Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
Analysing financial and operational data to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal requirements

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a hands-on management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a motel or hotel environment
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
Proficient in financial and operational analysis, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and legal requirements in the hospitality industry
Experience with PMS and channel management software, we use Guestpoint and Siteminder
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded
